We Provide accredited hypnosis / hypnotherapy training in the UK. When you are looking for hypnotherapy / hypnosis training in the UK, you can do no better than enrol with the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis.

We are an established and successful school, accredited by five major bodies:

• The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy
• The Hypnotherapy Society
• The National Council for Hypnotherapy
• The National Council of Psychotherapists
• The Counselling and Psychotherapy Society

When you complete our 'in-house' Professional Practitioner course, you are automatically eligible for membership of the first four of these. Completing our 2 year advanced course will give you a psychotherapy qualification via the Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.

We are also a member of UKCHO (United Kingdom Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations), a central body set up to maintain high standards in hypnosis/hypnotherapy training in UK schools and colleges.

In addition to this, we are the only Hypnotherapy School in Essex affiliated to the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma scheme - this is an independent scheme via NCFE, equivalent to NVQ level 4, and confers the professional qualification of HPD - so this important qualification is available to you.

The Principal of the Essex Institute, Terence Watts, has been in successful full time private practice as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist since 1989. He originally trained in Harley Street, London, England and is one of the most highly qualified hypno-psychotherapists in the UK.

He is also an International lecturer and presenter, a published author of books and manuals about hypnosis and psychotherapy and the author of the EICH successful hypnotherapy Professional Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner training UK programmes.
