CPD is an essential facet of the professional therapist's career and many registering societies and associations now insist on it, along with professional supervision. At The Essex Institute, we pride ourselves that our seminars are not only enjoyable to attend but will also enhance your practical skills. Our presenters are all qualified professional therapists, and each is a highly skilled and experienced expert in their field.

All seminars are held on a Monday unless otherwise stated and must be pre-booked.

All CPD days are accredited by the National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists.

Due to the high demand for our trainings, early booking is advisable.

January 11th 2010: Working with personality-related issues (part 1) Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Terence Watts Terence is Principal of The Essex Institute and has presented this advanced form of his innovative 'Warriors, Settlers & Nomads' many times both in the UK and overseas. First of two workshops teaching powerfully effective techniques.
February 8th 2010: Working with personality-related issues (part 2) Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Terence Watts In this second of two workshops, you will discover how almost any presenting problem can be resolved using this highly innovative and modern style of PARTS work. It's fast, effective and extremely user-friendly!
April 12th 2010: Jungian Analysis Uncovered. Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Benjamin Nagari An entertaining and hugely popular speaker, Benjamin has a MA degree in Jungian analytical psychology from the University of Essex, UK. You will come away from this seminar with a clear understanding of the work of one of the 'forefathers of therapy', C.G. Jung.
May 10th 2010: Stress Management. Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: John Hudson John Hudson is a hugely experienced therapist who has worked extensively in the field of stress management with both individuals and companies. On this seminar he will be teaching you some of his highly successful stress management methods.
June 14th 2010: Advanced Analytical Hypno-Psychotherapy (part 1). Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Terence Watts Learn how to use analytical therapy without formal hypnosis, working with even the most logical and analytically-orientated clients. Learn the secrets of the Miracle Box, the PolyBind, and the disarming simplicity of the 'ham pan moment', along with a whole bunch of other techniques.
July 12th 2010: Advanced Analytical Hypno-Psychotherapy (part 2). Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Terence Watts More advanced techniques for the consulting room of the professional therapist.
October 11th 2010: Kinesiology for Learning (part 1) Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Lin McAllister. Lin has worked with HUGE success with children of all ages from 8 - 80+ for many years. Learn her secrets! First of two great workshops.
November 8th 2010: Kinesiology for Learning (part 2) Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Lin McAllister. The second of two workshops, this one is even more intensive than the first and will teach you many invaluable techniques.
December 13th 2010: NLP Techniques in practice. Attendance fee: £65.00 Presenter: Neil Drew Neil is an accomplished NLP Practitioner, Life Coach and Business Coach. On this one-day seminar, you will learn many useful techniques to augment your hypnotherapy practice.

All seminars are certificated for evidence of CPD needed for registration with your professional body(ies).

Course Times and Fees

All seminars commence at 10.00 am and finish at 5.00 pm

Fees may be paid by cheque, bankers draft or Credit card. A deposit of £10.00 is required at the time of booking

Whilst we make every attempt to run the lectures as stated, we reserve the right to change presenters when necessary. In the unlikely event of any changes, you will be informed in good time and will have the option of a full refund of monies paid for that seminar.
